Green Smoothie

Don’t let the hue of this smoothie scare you … I admit, it’s a little out there! This smoothie is tasty and packs a nutritional punch – a great source of vitamins, minerals, fiber, and healthy fats. After a sip of this delightful drink, you’ll be converted for life.

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup frozen pineapple (fresh fruit, or berries, mango or banana are great substitutes)

1 – 2 cups spinach (kale, collards, or any other leafy green can be substituted)

2 Tbsp flax seeds

1 serving vanilla protein powder (hemp, rice, protein, or whey are best)

1/4 cup coconut milk

1 cup water (or more to desired consistency)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Toss all ingredients into a blender.

2. Blend ingredients at medium/high speed until fully blended to smooth consistency.
